‭‭‭‭Romans‬ ‭13:1‬ 

Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. 

That means that the last four years have been appointed by God. That means the results of this last election have been appointed by God. "ALL AUTHORITY comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there BY GOD." This isn't a debatable issue unless you're willing to debate with the Word Himself! 

I'm so disappointed in how so many have sown discord. On Wednesday I woke up with such a heavy heart and it wasn't because of who did or didn't win, but because of how many people have forgotten what we are called to do: 

Love - 1 John 4:7-8

Pray - 2 Chronicles 7:14, 1 Timothy 2:1-3

Stand for Truth - 2 Corinthians 13:8

Be Slow to Speak - James 1:19

I could keep going but these four seem to be loudly lacking right now. I don't care which "side" you stand on, hateful words, sowing discord, sinning in anger is never Godly. If you can't be kind in disagreement, then stop speaking. If you can't hear another view without feeling defensive, then kindly excuse yourself from the conversation. No matter what side you're on, if you are a Christian, you should have peace. Literally no man or woman is a savior other than Jesus Himself. No one is given power except through Jesus. Jesus has been on the throne, King of Kings for the last four years, really it's been longer than that. And He will continue to be on the throne now. God literally allowed Ahab to rule over Israel. He also gave them David. God gave Omri to rule over Israel and He gave them Hezekiah. 

America, your idols are loud, and no president in office will save you if you choose to ignore the King of Kings. No president in office will defeat you if you repent and turn back to Jesus.
